John B. DeCosmo, D.O. is a Board Certified Physician, specializing in Family Practice. Dr. DeCosmo is established in the Tampa Bay Area, starting his practice in 1988, and has been Medical Director of Millennium Medical since 1998. Additionally, Dr. DeCosmo has hospital staff privileges at five bay area hospitals. Beyond his conventional approach to medicine, Dr. DeCosmo alternatively attends to aspects of physical disease, such as diet and nutrition, through strategic testing and analysis, and by providing safer alternatives to prescription medicine. Dr. DeCosmo is a graduate of the Institute of Functional Medicine, a prominent organization that explores the research in nutritional biochemistry, genetic predisposition and environmental influences of an individual, and uses modern, state-of-the art testing and analysis, along with an accurate history and exam to diagnose imbalances and disease. Thereby, enabling Dr. DeCosmo to prescribe diet, exercise and nutritionals to the patients specific needs. Dr. Bangtson is a Chiropractic Physician, specializing in Sports Injuries and Functional Medicine. Dr. Bangtson is established in the Tampa Bay Area, starting her practice in 1982, and has been president of Millennium Medical since 1998. As a leader in functional medicine, Millennium Medical is an insurance based alternative healthcare practice. Dr. Bangtson was an instructor of neuromuscular therapy and rehabilitation for New York Chiropractic College. Dr. Bangtson is a graduate of the Institute of Functional Medicine, a prominent organization that specializes in the nutritional biochemistry of individuals, and uses modern, state-of-the art testing and analysis, along with an accurate history and exam to utilize a functional matrix in the approach to disease. Dr. Bangtsons commitment to patient education and communication is evident from her specialized programs utilized at Millennium Medical, and her continued educational studies.

David Pignatello, DC,PT, is both a Chiropractic Physician and a Physical Therapist. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of nerve, muscle and bone disorders. Dr. Dave also holds certifications in Acupuncture and Manipulation Under Anesthesia. He has been practicing since 1977 in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health and outpatient clinics.

Dr. Sean Woodward

Dr. Sean Woodward is a Chiropractic Physician, who is a graduate of the first class of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida and is competent in all of the following techniques: Diversified Full Spine, Gonstead, Thompson Drop, Flexion Distraction and Activator. Dr. Woodward was born and raised in Saint Petersburg and also has the ability to practice Acupuncture as he is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Woodward heads up the Neural Scan Program at Millennium, which is a non-invasive nerve conduction velocity test. Dr Woodward has been a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association since 2003.

Dr. Angela Kennedy is a Chiropractic Physician who is a graduate of Palmer Florida College of Chiropractic. Dr Kennedy is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and has special interests in the treatment of extremeties.

Dr. Danielle Mastrosimone is a chiropractic physician who is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College. She has an eclectic background in the neuromusculoskeletal field that includes experience in sports medicine, spinal rehabilitation, and a clinical research trial on herniated lumbar spinal discs. Dr. Mastrosimone's bachelor's degree had a concentration in health sciences, exercise science, and sports biomechanics, with internships in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy, sports massage techniques, and corporate wellness. She enjoys working with both spinal and extremity conditions and has a special interest in manual therapies for soft tissue injuries.

Kathie is a Board Certified ARNP with certifications in CPR/BLS, cardiac life support, advanced trauma care for nurses, peripherally inserted central catheters, and forensics. Additionally, Kathie has advanced training in lap band fills, providing aftercare support and education that enables banded patients to achieve healthy weight loss. Kathie has extensive experience in Surgery, Pediatrics, Trauma, Critical Care and Interventional Radiology. Kathie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Phoenix and her Masters Degree in Nursing at the University of Tampa. Kathie maintains hospital privileges at Tampa General and Sun Coast Hospital.

Susan is a Board Certified ARNP with certifications in nursing and midwifery. Additionally, Susan has advanced training in alternative therapies, chelation, IV therapies and specializes in women's health. Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of South Florida and her Masters Degree in Nursing at Emory University of Atlanta, and is also a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Jessica Cudar, DOM, AP, is a board certified Acupuncture Physician. Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Professional Health Science degree and a Master of Oriental Medicine degree from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. Jessica is a Diplomate in Acupuncture certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Jessica is originally from St. Petersburg and is a Florida licensed primary care physician.

Howard has spent his life in the service of others and feels extremely fortunate to be able to work with like-minded people in a facility that offers so much to our patients. As a graduate of Humanities School of Massage Therapy (presently the Cortiva Institute) in June 1994, Howard has worked as a medical massage therapist specializing in neuromuscular massage therapy, including myofacial release, muscle-energy techniques, Swedish massage, and healing touch. Howard says, I find it very rewarding to assist my patients in their healing process.

Larry is a graduate of the Suncoast School of Massage Therapy in 1990 and has been with Millennium Medical since 2001. He is trained in neuromuscular massage, myofacial release, TMJ and COREmassage. Larry has always said that, "Making people feel better makes my day." Larry repeatedly claims that he is very thankful to work with such a diversified team of professionals.

Jackee is a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated with a massage therapy degree from Keiser University in 2005. Jackee always wanted to work with her hands so a career in massage therapy at Millennium was a natural step where she can use her neuromuscular therapy skills. Jackee also earned her certificate in Craniosacral Therapy in 2008.

Katie has been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2004 and is an active professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. After graduating with her bachelor degree from Marshall University, Katie attended Florida College of Natural Health in Orlando to complete her associates of science degree in Natural Health with a concentration in Advanced Therapeutic Massage. Upon graduation, Katie attained her certification in neuromuscular therapy as well as sports massage therapy. Katie also became a Level II Reiki practitioner with intentions to become a Reiki Master. Having provided therapeutic massage in medical environments for five years, Katie is pleased to share and expand her knowledge and experience at Millennium.

Daniel is a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from Florida School of Massage in 2005. Daniel followed his passion to work with injuries and became a certified sports massage therapist and worked extensively with the University of Floridas athletic department while extending his healing hands at community events including the points of life marathon. Daniels technique is a unified integration of Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release and sports massage.

Sarah Stillman - Sarah was born in New York and went to school in Maryland and Florida. In addition to her Millennium duties as a Billing Associate, Sarah is also our onsite IT Manager. In her spare time, Sarah is taking college classes in information technology to further her knowledge of computers, networking and problem troubleshooting. In the billing department, Sarah represents our patients with last names beginning from A through G.
Lauren McGuinness - Lauren moved to the Tampa Bay area from New York in 2008 and has worked in the medical field for over 10 years. Laurens background is varied and includes front office management, medical billing and coding and Medical assisting. She new to Millennium, have been here about a month and loves it. In the billing department, Lauren represents our patients with last names beginning from H through P.
Amanda Halbrook - Amanda was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and relocated to Florida in 2008. Amandas background includes accounting, customer service, and medical billing. As a Clearwater citizen, Amanda is now a valued member of our team and represents our patients with last names beginning from Q through Z.
Erlene Swede Erlene was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Florida in the mid-1990s. Erlene has worked at Millennium and its associated companies for years, in many positions, all of which were related to patient services. Currently, as a Patient Advocate, Erlene is helping patients who need financial assistance to apply for Care Credit. She also oversees some of the insurance company authorizations needed for treatments at Millennium and is processing new Personal Injury and Workmans Compensation cases.
